What Usually Works, doesn’t Work all of the Time
Here is a great perspective from Joshua Brown on what has happened in the last 12 months in the markets and what most investors do when they have this type of environment.
My favorite part:
“Investors forget that what usually works doesn’t work all the time. They’re obsessed with finding a strategy that’s working right now. I don’t care what it costs, anything but this.”
This is imperative if you want to be a successful investor! You must be able to comprehend that successful strategies don’t work all the time. Nothing works in every type of market, but there are things that work most of the time and paring a few of those strategies up is the best way to stack the odds in your favor. At the end of the day that is all we can do. Enjoy this article
